The disposable concept
Can guests preview their photos before the reveal?+
No. That's the whole point. The shutter clicks, the photo goes into the roll, and nobody — not even the host — can sneak a look until reveal time. It's enforced in the app and in the database, not just a UI nicety.
Can guests delete a photo they took?+
No. Real disposable cameras don't have a delete button. Once you've pressed the shutter, that shot is part of the roll. Hosts can hide individual photos before reveal if something inappropriate slipped through.
What does the host see during the event?+
Photo count, guest list, who's uploaded what, and moderation controls. Hosts can peek at every photo in real time if they want — guests just can't.
When do photos reveal?+
You set it when you create the roll. Three options: when the event ends, instantly (each photo appears as it's taken), or at a specific date and time you pick.
Setting up an event
How many guests can join?+
Free covers 10. Paid tiers scale up: Mini 30, Hangout 60, Party 100, Big Night 175, Mega 300 — and a Custom roll goes up to 600. You pick the size at creation, and you can top up guests mid-event if more people show.
What are the games?+
Seven live party games: Missions, Dares, Photo Bingo, Bounties, Secret Paparazzi, Imposter, and Guess Who Shot It. All seven are free on every roll — start from ready-made prompts or write your own.
What's a Trip?+
A Trip is a multi-day roll. Set a start and end date, and guests fill the same roll across the entire window. Perfect for weddings that span a weekend, festivals, vacations, or any 'one trip = one set of memories' situation. Trips are a paid feature (from $2.99).
Can I edit an event after I create it?+
You can change the reveal time, close the event early, remove guests, or top up guests and shots from the dashboard. The base tier is set when you create the roll.
Do guests need an account?+
No. Guests join via QR code or invite link and get an anonymous session. They only need to enter a display name so other guests know who took what.
After the reveal
Do guests need to install the app to view photos?+
To shoot, yes. To view the revealed gallery, no — once the roll is revealed, anyone with the link can view it on the web. No install required.
How long do photos stay live?+
On Free, full-resolution originals stay for 14 days after reveal (Mini, 30 days) — download your keepers within that window. After it, the heavy originals are cleared but low-res thumbnails stay on so the roll never fully disappears. Hangout and every tier above keep full-resolution originals forever.
Can I download all the photos at once?+
Yes. From the gallery overflow menu pick 'Save all to library' and every photo is saved to your camera roll. Free tier exports are watermarked and downsized; paid tiers export at full quality.
Can I get physical prints?+
Disposable-style 4×6 prints are launching via a print partner. Order from the gallery menu after reveal and we'll email you when prints ship.
Moderation & safety
What if a guest uploads something inappropriate?+
Hosts can hide individual photos before reveal so guests never see them. You can also remove a guest entirely from the event dashboard — removed guests are blocked from uploading in real time and can't see the roll.
Are photos stored privately?+
Yes. Photos are private to the roll. Guests can only see them when the host reveals the roll. Removed guests immediately lose access. Photos are stored on Supabase and not used for advertising or training.
Pricing & purchases
Why is there no 'unlimited free' tier?+
Storage and bandwidth cost real money. The free tier (10 guests, 12 shots each, one active roll at a time) covers honest small gatherings and lets you try it. Anything bigger — more people, more shots, or a multi-day trip — is a flat one-time fee.
Is there a subscription?+
No. Clickables is one-time purchases per event — pick a tier or build a custom roll and pay once. No monthly fee, no in-app credits.
Can I refund a purchase?+
Refunds go through Apple, not us. Open the App Store → tap your profile → Purchase History → tap the item → Report a Problem. We'll honor anything Apple approves.
What's a top-up?+
If a guest runs low mid-event, the host can add shots (+50 or +200) or guests (+10 or +25) from the dashboard and grant them to whoever needs them — no tier upgrade for one heavy shooter.
Technical
Is there an Android version?+
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap. Guests on Android can still view revealed rolls in their browser.
Does this work offline?+
Shooting works offline — photos queue locally and upload when you reconnect. Reveals and gallery views need a connection.
How big are the photo files?+
Standard captures are JPEG at full sensor resolution. Free-tier exports are resized to 1280px and watermarked; paid tiers export at full resolution.
